live Shadowplay, All these things.. and When you were young
21st August 2008, Dublin,Ireland
It was AMAZING! ok amazing doesn't even cut it!...but it was
just brilliant! they came on stage at about 9.20pm and everyone
went crazy! i couldn't believe i was there...it was
so.......surreal i suppose you'd say! anyway the venue (Marlay
Park) which is like a big field was completely packed with
people! They started the concert with a storming For Reasons
Unknown...then Brandon started talking(sigh). he said Conas Ata
tu?-which is Irish for How Are You?(!!!!) anyway they played
some more brilliant tracks like Somebody Told Me and Read My
Mind and well, loads more! and Brandon was going CRAZY on stage!!
he was jumping all over the stage and he was really excited!!
Ronnie was going mental with the drums and so were Mark and Dave
on guitar and bass. and Brandon was playing the guitar!-i never
knew he could play it- i thought he just played keyboards! they
played a magnificent All These Things Ive Done and everyone was
singing along especially for I Got Soul But I'm Not A Soldier!
it was my first Killers concert and i really enjoyed it! i
really would love to see them again-i kept the ticket and i
bought a Killers t-shirt so i know that i will never EVER forget
it! the only disappointing thing about the concert was that they
didn't play an encore. still, it was incredible and they are
such an amazing band!!! i can't wait for the new album whenever
it is going to be released! i love The Killers and seeing them
live has made me love them even more!!

great show and a great experience seeing The Killers live.I
still have that tickets from the show...ill keep them for as

It was so amazing. when they came out and Brandon said "we
are the hounds of hell and I promise you our bark is worse than
our bite" I didn't know it was him cuz I had been so excited I
forgot what to be excited about! and then they played midnight
show and I couldn't move. I was just standing there, with a
smile plastered on my face, looking at the jumbo tron (the guy
in front of my was really tall). and then after the song was
over I got into it real good. I can't wait to see them again. It
was the best night of my life and nothing could ever top it-not
even another Killers show, it could only come in the closest
second you have ever seen if your life.

Comment: The Killers from start to finish really got the sold out
crowd at the Long Beach Arena really fired up. Before they even
came out with the arena dark, cell phones were in the air imitating
the famous lighter technique. They started off with Jenny was a
Friend of Mine and the crowd started really rockin out with the
opener. Brandon Flowers in between songs was explaining how he came
up with the different songs explaining the backround. All of the
album songs were played except the Ballad of Michael Valentine and
for the encore, they played Everything Will be Alright, they played
a David Bowie song in, Moonage Daydream, and of course, All These
Things that I've Done. The lights were amazing and every part of
the show was spectacular! I can't wait to see them in concert
again!

Comment: They were great wat can i say. I love them, they made the
crowed go wild, we all started clapping and wanting them to come
back and finish it up. Dave was really bring it to the fans, he had
made great poses for us to take pix, Brandon also did ofcourse with
the rest of the exemplary band. I hope they come to San Diego,
getting home @ 2:00am in the morning and having to go to skool @
6:00 am was pretty bad. The only reason i was disapointed was that
they didnt play "all the pretty faces"

Jenny was a friend of mine
date: October 13th, 2005 - Vancouver, BC (Pacific Coliseum)
Comment: Oh...my...goodness...gracious.
I am going to tell EVERY little detail. So if your eyes start
bleeding...well, I warned you.
So, my friend & I arrive at the venue around noon. We wait in the
back by the tour bus and first things first - we see Brandon
dragging some equipment with what seems to be their manager. We
don't want to bother him because he looks very tired, se we keep our
distance. He catches our eye and smiles and nods at us.
Next, Dave exits the tour bus. He is also unloading equipment and
does the exact same thing Brandon does to us. He also looks very
tired.
Then, Mark comes out. The same thing happens again - him lugging
equipment, us keeping our distance and him spotting us.
Suddenly, Ronnie pulls up in a silver van. He exits with some stuff
and walks into the coliseum. As he walks away, I look back at him
and he turns around, waves at us, and goes into the doors. Well, at
least they all knew we exsisted.
After a while, some girls show up really excited, claiming they are
the #1 fans. We begin to talk to them and suddenly Dave comes out.
The girls all swarm him and me and my friend just kinda wait until
they are done. Dave breaks away from them after a while and goes
into the tour bus. We think that Dave isn't gonna come out for a
while and we get a bit sad, but about 15 mins later he returns and
head right for us! I introduce myself and so does he. I hand him my
envelope that my tickets came in and he signs it. He reads my name
on the envelope and says, "Your name is familiar! Have I met you
before?" In my head, I'm like, "Is this a pick-up line?" But I just
say to him "Umm...no...haha." Then I get a picture with him, ditto
to my friend, and he leaves. I totally forgot to ask him if the
others would come out...but they didn't end up coming out anyways. I
was a little dissapointed, but I was PUMPED for the show. By now it
was 6:00 pm and we needed to take our place in line to get to the
floor (I had floor tickets!).
My mom had waited in line for us all day (I needed someone to wait
in line for us while we were out back)...what a doll. We came up to
the front and took her place in line. We were second in the entire
lineup! We were kind of scared, though, because everyone was going
to make a mad dash to the floor to get a good spot. When me and my
friend got through, we were held back a bit because of our bags. But
after we were checked we RAN SO FAST TO THE FLOOR! Lots of people in
front of us had absolutely NO IDEA how to get to floor, but I did
because I had been here for concerts before. I told my friend to
follow me and we DASHED to the floor entrance and got FIRST ROW,
CENTERISH RIGHTISH! Exactly where I wanted to be...right in front of
Mark. Haha. My friend and I hugged each other and were close to
tears. Concerts are so damn stressful!
So, British Sea Power opened up. I am pretty familiar with their
music and they played a WONDERFUL SHOW! The bassist had leaves on
his head in a headdress thing (hilarious) and the keyboardist would
randomly get up and bang on a tom drum and walk through random
places in the audience (even more hilarious). Congrats to them! They
really opened well!
THEN...CAME THE KILLERS. OH MY GOSH. Set list:
Jenny Was a Friend of Mine
On Top
Somebody Told Me
Midnight Show
Believe Me, Natalie
Change Your Mind
Under the Gun
Smile Like You Mean It
Andy, Youâ?Tre a Star
Glamorous Indie Rock â?~Nâ?T Roll
Mr. Brightside
Encore:
Everything Will Be All Right
Moonage Daydream (David Bowie)
All These Things That Iâ?Tve Done
Jenny is ALWAYS the best live. So full of energy. The best thing
during the song was at the very beginning, when Mark first plays his
bass part - all the other instruments wern't playing! It was all his
bass for that one part. IT WAS AMAZING.
During the middle of the concert, Ronnie made a speech about how
this was their last show for Hot Fuss EVER - and how the band was
happy it was ending in Vancouver. I wasn't too sure about that, but
hey! It was nice of him.
Oh my gosh, Dave was CRAZY. He waltzed all over the stage, kept
showing his tongue and kept hopping up on Ronnie's drum stage. I
have never seen him like this before!
Brandon was AMAZING, as usual, standing all over the speakers and
making his infamous gestures. I AM PRETTY SURE IN ANDY HE STROKED
HIS CROTCH. Oh man, I died a little. He also did the cutest thing.
During the "STAY!" part in Indie RnR he sat RIGHT SMACK IN FRONT OF
US on a speaker, closed his eyes, crossed his legs and sang, "If...you..wanna
love me". It was WONDEFUL! Oh, and PLENTY of boy love between Brand
& Dave. ;)
They were all so into it! I couldn't believe it! Must've been the
fact that is was their last show. Mark was equally into it, lifting
his bass in the air contstantly and pouting hardcore. There was a
distinctive part where he looked right at me and gave me a little
smile/smirk. OH MY GOSH - INCREDIBLE. I was in front of him the
whole concert. :)
They finished with All These Things and made everyone hold up their
cell phones to make little lights. I looked behind me and saw
thousands of lights...beautiful. During the beginning of the I Got
Soul part - I TOTALLY STARTED THE CLAPPING. Well, to the people
around me, anyways. When they left offstage, I was totally
exhilirated, yet sad. It was all over.
But me and my friend were DETERMINED to meet the rest of the band.
So we BOLTED out the exit doors and back to the same place we were
before the concert - by their tour bus. I thought we'd had to wait
long, but Dave appeared out of the doors and high fived everyone
(there was about 150 people out there!)
Then...MARK CAME OUT! He headed to the crowd and started signing
autographs. When he came to me, I was petrified. I nervously asked
him for a picture and he said, "Sure you can have a picture!" I
wondered if he remembered me from before.
THEN OUT COMES BRANDY. The crowd goes wild. He comes up to me and my
friend and we both get pics with him. It was nice of him to sign
every single one of the autographs, but he seemed a bit moody. Then
I wondered if he remembered me from before...
Anyways, finally, RONNIEKINS COMES! He's such a little sweetheart.
We get autographs and pics with him, and he is smiling SO ADORABLE.
Finally, after a little more than a year of loving these boys to
death, I recieved ALL OF THEIR AUTOGRAPHS - and pics with them. I
was about ready to pass out.
As my friend and I were leaving to our car, we saw Dave stumble out
of his tour bus. He was PISS DRUNK, haha. He came up to us with a
pen, and he grabbed my hand and ran the pen all over it. Then he
started doing it to other people...WHILE STILL GRABBING MY HAND. I
was like...OK? Cool? Haha. Then he came back to me and gave me like
a dozen high-fives. Yup. He remembers me.
Well, that concludes the best night of my life. Yes, I know this was
long, but I had to fit everything in! It was a simply perfect show,
and I couldn't ask for anything more. I am extremely lucky, and I
will take this memorable experiance for granted EVERY DAY!
OH! P.S. - Their manager was filming The Killers 24/7 - AND US. I
heard some girls saying the footage was going to be for a DVD?

Comment: The concert was amazing! Even with wet shoes and socks.
British Sea Power kicked off the show, and it was fantabulous. They
sounded great, you could feel the bass in your chest. On top (hehe,
on top) of that they put on great stage antics, including when the
keyboardist walked through the audience with a marching drum and
when the guitar player ripped all of the stings from his guitar and
decided he could play without it. Then they left, we waited for 10
minutes and the real show began. They started off with Jenny Was A
Friend of Mine. It didn't sound that great. The vocals were too low,
it sounded too washed out. It was like that with most of the songs.
I was quite dissapointed by the fans though. Was it really necessary
for them to sway and make the whole crowd sway along with them? I
don't think so, it just caused a whole lot of trouble, and it wasn't
fun, just distracting from the show. And then there were the drunk
guys. They thought that because they were "the biggest fans there"
that they should be the closest also. I didn't agree with that
theory so i pushed back and kicked one of them in the back of the
knee, YAY FUN! But, the show was great all same. When they all,
except Mark, came out on their little keyboards and did All These
Things That I've Done for the closing song, it was great! The energy
was blazing, for lack of a better, less corny/cliche word. But, I
still don't know why Ronnie had a little thing of Corn Flakes on his
keyboards? Hmmm, ponderous.

Comment: It's not fair. All of the songs they performed are my favorite live.
I just came back from the Long Beach Arena (in Long Beach of course; 10.06.05)
and oh my goodnes what a night!!! I didn't mind the fact that I had to wait
from 10am to 9:45pm to see the guys perform but the way people just PUSHED and
PUSHED towards the front was incredibly frustating. Eventually the crowd calmed
down...a bit, and I was able to enjoy the entire show. The guys are just the
best BEST live. Brandon did his usual hand movements; a few were new. During
ATTTID, the part of "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier", he let us sing it and
the crowd just went wild. There were a few: Dave and Brandon touchie touchie
moments; Mark's was amazing, i love the way he sways he's upper body and Ronnie
was just Ronnie, amazing! They performed all the songs from HOT FUSS: limited
edition, except "ballad of michael valentine" which was subtituted for "freak me
out" (i think that's the name). During the 2nd opening act: Bristish Sea Power,
Ronnie joined the boys. He went CRAZY! Played an electric guitar with them and
went rowdy up on stage; he sat on one of them. As for their attire: Brandon had
a black jacket with a thin gray scarf; Mark a black suit; Ronnie white shirt and
dark pants and Dave a white suit. OH OH OH during "Everything will be alright",
both Mark and Ronnie joined Brandon with their own set of keyboards. Something
I've never seen. It was so beautiful. I cannot wait to see them again. I just
hope they are assinged seating tickets. We were packed like sardines. But it
was worth it. The Killers are AMAZING!

First off, it was hot and humid, I mean Texas in August, and it was completely
packed. Over a thousand people in a rather small sold out venue. The opener
wasn't that great and everyone was getting restless to see The Killers. Finally
when they came on it was like insanity. They were amazing! Very well performed
and Brandon Flowers had sensational stage presence. You couldn't keep your eyes
off him, but why would you want to :) He was a overly dramatic and made awesome
entertainment. I love The Killers. I sang along to everything and was crushin,
starry eyed, all puppy love style, like a 12 year old. Once again, I love The
Killers.

They were supporting U2 in Poland, they should have played 45 minuts, but
unfortunately, because of hard rain, they played only 25 minutes:( They played:
Jenny was a friend of mine, Andy you're a star, Somebody told me, Smile like you
mean it, On top and Mr. Brightside. I bought the ticket not because of main star
of the evening - U2, but because of The Killers, so I was devastated when they
ended their performance much too soon. But they were really good, I hope they
will visit Poland with their own concert, maybe after releasing next album. They
have some great fans of their sounds here. Mark, Dave, Ronnie, Brandon: you're

GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! The show was amazing, it is very unlikely that
anything could be any more magnificent. After the show, I went around the
Pageant and got to meet them. Fist I met Ronnie, he signed my ticket and shirt,
like all of them. I got a picture with him, and he was really sweet. Then Dave
came out, and my mom has a huge crush on him, and ended up giving him her number
(she has lost her mind) he hugged me and took a picture with me too! Mark made
an attemt to skip me, but I of course followed him and got him to sign my shirt.
The Brandon came out, looking far too amazing for his own good, and he signed my
shirt and ticket. He also gave me the most amazing hug there could ever be, and
took a picture with me, that I now stare at until I am forced to, very
reluctantly, blink. As a result of this show, I now love The Killers more than I
did before (which i truly thought could not occur) So, to The Killers, Thank you
all for such an awesome show!

Comment: Last October, October, 2004 on either... October 12th or 16th (I know
I'm horrile they are the best band in the world I just can't rememebr the exact
date and im to lazy to walk to my room and get the stub) I saw The Killers. I
discovered The Killers in May of 2004, back when Mr. Brightside was really
popular in the U.K.
They became my favorite band instantly, I got online, researched them,
downloaded a few songs. I bought their album, Hot Fuss, the week it came out in
June.
I had a very important football game the next day and being the linebacker you
can't really skip your games but I had to go to this. I went to St. Andrews
Hall, Detroit. Super Rosa and Ambulance LTD opened.
The 45 minute wait before The Killers came on was the longest period of time in
my life. Although I was mezmorized my Brandons rhinestoned keyboard.
Then they came out. They played a full set including, (somewhat in order) Jenny
Was A Friend Of Mine, Change Your Mind, Mr. Brightside, Smile Like You Mean It,
right into a small cover of Pink Floyyd's Time, and then Under The Gun, and then
the moment I had been waiting for. When Brandon released the casual remark of
"Well guys, ya know, somebody told me..." the audience lurched forward with
sweaty inensity (I was front row, standing room only, I shoved my way to the
front, infront of Brandon) and 6 minutes of heaven flew through my ears. My arms
were up and hitting people on accident, I didn't care. I have been to a lot of
shows, but not one this good. Somebody Told Me was the best they did out of the
set. (The Killers concluded that set with All These Things That Ive Done,
Midnight Show and Andy, You're A Star) With the random extra synths and guitar
riffs and little catch phrases The Killers continually impressed me. My favorite
songs live (in this order were
1. Somebody Told Me
2. Under The Gun
3. Midnight Show
4. Smile Like You Mean It
and 5. Mr. Brightside
This band is one of the best bands in the entire world.
I live in Michigan, very small town and I am now looking forward to going to the
89x Birthday Bash in Detroit. Featuring some of my other favorite bands, Hot Hot
Heat, Louis XIV, Brendan Benson, Keane and a few others. The Killers are the
main reason I am going. I have been waiting for them to graze Michigan for so
long. The last thing I will add to this review is a little tip, if you havent
seen this band live, you yourself have'nt lived life yet.

Oh my gosh, this happens to be the only band, in my oppinion who knows how to
put on a show! It was nothing but spectacular in that they were not the snobby
rock stars who pay no mind to the fans and just play and leave where as they we
really into it and were just AWSOME thats why I am going to Spokane to see them

I went with my dad. We were in line for like an hour, when we finally got in I
was so close to the stage, I was one person from the stage. The two open acts
were ok. I cant even remember their names, hee hee. They started with 'Jenny Was
a Friend of Mine.' They were so amazing, they sounded great. Brandon was so
hot!! I loved every minute of it. I love the way Brandon performs, I couldnt
take my eyes off him. I took some ok pics of them. I didnt go to the bathroom
the whole concert cause I didnt want to lose my spot, I probably held it in for
4 hours. I had an amazing night I will never forget. At the end after they were
done I got a guitar pick, I mean I didnt meet them but, hey I had a unforgetable
night and I got a guitar pick. Life is good!! I hope to see them again!!!

This show was amazing. My favorite song live was 'All These Things I've
Done',since it is an awesome song to song along to. Their opening band, Hot Hot
Heat was awesome and got you ready for them. Brandon Flowers has an amazing
voice, and he works the crowd quite well. They played all but two songs off
their album, plus Glamorous Indie Rock n Roll, and three new songs. It's the
most fun I've ever had, and I'm sas it's over. I'm definitly going again on
their next time around.

Comment: I just saw the killers in concert on May 27th, 2005 in Columbus, Ohio
and they were amazing! They sounded even better than they did on cd! Their stage
presence was average(mostly Brandon)...i think he could have talked to the crowd
a little more, but otherwise they were outstanding. Even though brandon acted a
little uneasy on stage at times, he looked amazing! His outfit, hair, and just
all around look were hott! His voice was pure and strong and he did not miss one
note all night! I could not believe how amazing his voice sounded. I was
speechless! Brandon wasnt the only one who had an outstanding performance...the
rest of the band was perfect as well! I could not believe what I was hearing! I
expected them to be good...but I had no idea how amazing they would be! It was
unbelievable! It was soo great that its hard to find the right words to describe
them (if there are words that can describe them)! The only setback of the night
was their warmup band~! I dont know !
who chose "Hot Hot Heart but whoever did must not have ever heard them perform.
I couldnt understand one word that they were "singing". Otherwise...the killers
were outstanding and I rate the concert 10 out of 10! 100%! If the Killers are
in your area...YOU MUST CHECK THEM OUT! This is a once in a lifetime event! You
will never see a concert better than this!

largest crowd to date 16,000 sold out show....and they were GREAT! They sound

then came all the heart and throat clutching and occasional arm swishing and
elaborate facial expressions. Loved every minute of it.

Comment: Okay first of all i love love love love love the killers and everything
about them. They are the best band ever,(in my opinion)so when i found out they
were having a concert in Boston Ma i of course had to get tickets. And i did
center-stage 6th row. It was really awesome. My friend and I were going mental
and especially when "Glamerous Indy Rock and Roll" came on. Now body really knew
the words to it because it was only released on the UK version Of Hot Fuss, so
naturally i got my Hot Fuss CD imported just so i could have Indy Rock and Roll.
Another really great song was "Under the Gun" i sung along to that. The best
part again, in my opinion, was when i met all four of them and got their
autographs, well lets just say that made my night.;).

The Killers did awesome. I couldn't have asked for them to do any better. The
crowd went wild and i think even Brandon was thrown off at the reaction, because
he said "wow" during the concert. They did awesome and anyone who hasn't seen
them live is defintely missing out. Indy rock and roll wasn't necessarily my

Comment: House of Blues - Myrtle Beach, SC 7/10/05. The most energetic show I
have seen for a 1 hour show in my life! They did an outstanding job considering
they only have one album, the nonstop touring is paying off. They all looked
awesome - Brandon was wearing a baby pink blazer with a skinny tie - totally
cute. He interacted with the audience well. The crowd went nuts during almost
all of the songs - at times Brandon didnt even need to sing, he couldnt be heard
because the whole crowd was singing every word to every song. In fact he said "I
am so impressed, you all know the words and we havent even played a hit yet!!"
All of the House of Blues shows are set up for perfect sound. Such a treat to
see them in such an intimate setting. We were lucky enough to get preferred
seating so we scored great seats. Amazing!!! That's where I was this time last
week!!! **sobs*** I am so depressed that it's over, that Tana is one lucky

When we got to the arena, it was SOO PACKED! Our seats were very close to the
stage. Tegan and Sara played first. They were so awesome! The audience kept
getting really excited when the lights went out because we thought The Killers
were coming out. After 45 minutes to an hour of waiting, The Killers came out!
The arena just went CRAZY! That was the best feeling ever. They started with
"Jenny Was a Friend of Mine." After every song, Brandon talked to the audience
for a bit...it was amazing. It even seemed like he would pose for pictures at
some moments. He is BEAUTIFUL! And an amazing performer/singer. I love that
band! They sang every song from the album, except for "Believe Me, Natalie" and
"Everything Will Be Alright." They also sang "Under the Gun," "Where Is She,"
and "Indie Rock and Roll." The concert ended with "All These Things That I've
Done" my FAVORITE Killers song...it was AMAZING! BEST CONCERT EVER!
