Get Trashed

This song is what goes through the head of an alcoholic.  I think he may already be kinda hammered because he says he's "Sitting here on the bed/Trying to clear my head" and the mood of the song is pretty slow and hazy and confusing, like a hangover.  He's thinking about his girlfriend Brooke that broke up with him, and he can't seem to understand why, which makes me think he may abuse her because he describes himself as a "jealous mess" and he thinks that's a good thing about himself because before, it says "baby, I'll be the best... 'Cause I'm a jealous mess".  And after all of that, he feels that he will feel much better if he gets trashed and most likely heads to the bar after the song ends.

Brooke didn't break up with him, she was told to stay away from him to keep him from undue harm and so all his dreams could come true.  She is the alcoholic. This I am sure of.
