FIFAworldcup.com: Where did you watch the match?
Dave Keuning: We're in London at the moment, putting the finishing touches to our new album. We were in between two studio sessions and wanted to watch the game in a pub, but they were all so crowded we had to give up. For some bizarre reason we struggled to find a taxi back to the hotel, so we missed the goal!

Are you a big football fan?
I've never really watched football until now. I wasn't really interested. It's not all that big in the US, although it has been getting increasingly popular in recent years. It's nice to see that our team has managed to qualify again though. Recently I've been getting more into the game, and I think I'll be following it more and more, at least every four years when the World Cup comes around. The tournament is really something special.

Where does this sudden passion for the game come from?
Being in England has a lot to do with it. Everyone's crazy about the game, it's amazing. The World Cup is even more important for them than the Superbowl is for us, and that's really saying something. Their enthusiasm seems to be contagious, which is why I'll be supporting England while we're here.

Who's your favourite player?
I know it's not very original, but I like David Beckham. He's a great player. There's just one thing I don't like about him: the tattoo on his neck.

Who do you think will win the FIFA World Cup?
I'd love it if the United States won. Maybe in a few years, who knows... If not, it's quite easy to imagine Brazil winning it, with the team they've got. I'm expecting some surprises though, like Ecuador who played well last night, or the Czech Republic, who were fantastic during qualifying.
